Role Description The HR Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources to support Wahaj’s growing event and production operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, developing job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth integration of new team members. The role also involves overseeing performance management, designing development plans, supporting training initiatives, and maintaining fair and consistent HR policies. The HR Manager will manage employee relations, handle conflict resolution, ensure compliance with labor laws and company procedures, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation. In addition, the role collaborates with senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational culture initiatives, and HR-related input for event staffing and project-based teams.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and onboarding to build and support high-performing teams.
- Experience in performance management, employee development, and training program coordination.
- Proficiency in HR policy design, HR administration, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices for fair and non-discriminatory HR processes.
- Ability to manage employee relations, conduct conflict resolution, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Experience using HRIS or HR management software and proficiency in standard office productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
- Previous HR experience in events, hospitality, or a fast-paced service industry environment is beneficial.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
