Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes. The Human Resources Specialist will coordinate employee benefits, support performance management activities, and help ensure compliance with local labor laws and company procedures. Daily responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries, preparing HR documentation, organizing training and development initiatives, and collaborating with management to foster a positive, inclusive work environment. The role also contributes to HR process improvement and supports strategic HR projects aligned with the company’s growth and culture.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR), including understanding of core HR functions and best practices.
- Experience in HR Management and Personnel Management, with the ability to support staffing, performance, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including drafting, implementing, and communicating guidelines and programs.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations in Jordan, and the ability to ensure compliance in daily HR operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and standard office software (e.g., MS Office); experience with HRIS tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in the construction, design, or related industries is beneficial but not required.
