Job Title: Mid-Level .NET Backend Developer
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level .NET Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining APIs, backend services, and SQL databases that power our software products, including our POS system.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve backend applications using C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Design and build secure, scalable REST APIs for web, desktop, and POS software.
- Design, manage, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data models.
- Integrate backend services with internal systems and third-party APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and support software releases.
- Collaborate with the development team on planning, testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Use Git and follow established development and deployment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and query optimization.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with JSON.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), software architecture, and design principles.
- Experience with Entity Framework and/or ADO.NET.
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high-quality work on time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building software for retail, POS, inventory, accounting, or business-management systems.
- Familiarity with WinForms or other .NET desktop technologies.
- Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with IIS, deployment processes, CI/CD, and performance tuning.
- Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization.
