Role Description The Software Engineer will work on-site full time in Amman, Jordan, designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable software systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, developing and maintaining back-end services and APIs, and integrating databases and third-party services. The role involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality features. The Software Engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, server-side frameworks, and database integration.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Amman, Jordan, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate clearly in English.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), testing practices, and continuous integration is beneficial.
- Experience with web technologies, cloud platforms, or educational software solutions is an advantage.
