Herfeh (حرفة) is an Arabic-first marketplace connecting artisans and home-based sellers with buyers , including a dedicated e-commerce channel bringing Palestinian sellers to a global audience, and a growing consumer base in Jordan through a mobile app.
We're a lean, fast-moving team, and marketing is our next big build.
The Role
We're hiring our first in-house Senior Marketing Lead, owning marketing across two live products: our e-commerce website and our mobile app. This is a player-coach role: you'll own and execute marketing yourself from day one, while laying the groundwork to build and lead a team as we scale. If you want to build a marketing function from scratch , not inherit one , this is it.
What You'll Own
📝 Content strategy and production across channels, including UGC
📢 Paid media : Meta Ads, Google Ads, and GEO-targeted campaigns: planning, execution, budget management, and optimization
🤝 Influencer sourcing, outreach, and coordination
🖥️ Website and storefront enhancements that support conversion and brand
🏪 Seller/company profile pages that help our Palestinian and Jordanian sellers stand out
🔗 Coordinating with external partners currently supporting our marketing efforts, and shaping what moves in-house over time
📊 Performance reporting (traffic, conversion, CAC, ROAS) to guide decisions
👥 Recruiting and building a marketing team as the function grows

What We're Looking For
- 4+ years in marketing, with hands-on experience running paid campaigns (Meta + Google, minimum)
- Experience marketing both an e-commerce business and a mobile app , you understand funnels for each, not just brand
- Comfortable creating and directing content yourself, not just briefing others
- Actively uses AI marketing tools in your day-to-day work - content generation, ad optimization, analytics and stays current as new ones emerge
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken - you'll work with sellers, buyers, and partners across Jordan and Palestine
- A self-starter who's done more with less - you'll be a department of one before you're a department of five
- Bonus: experience with Shopify, multi-vendor/marketplace platforms, or MENA e-commerce
