We’re Hiring | AccountantPODIUM Architects is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Amman, Jordan.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the company’s day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate, well-organized financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, payments, and collections.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations, expense records, and financial documentation.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure proper supporting documentation and approvals.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records related to payroll and employee financial matters.
- Coordinate with management, suppliers, clients, and relevant departments regarding financial matters.
- Ensure proper organization and filing of accounting documents.
- Assist with tax, social security, and other statutory financial requirements in coordination with relevant parties.
- Support management with financial information and basic analysis when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Previous experience in an architecture or engineering firm is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
