Job Summary
The Junior HR Officer supports the Human Resources department across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring timely execution of HR operations, documentation, coordination, and employee support. The role requires a highly organized, proactive, and dependable individual who can manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality.
This position is ideal for a proactive and dependable HR professional with a solid understanding of HR fundamentals, strong ownership, and a willingness to continuously learn, grow, and progressively take responsibility for HR operations and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
candidate communication.
Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
Prepare employment contracts, job offers, and onboarding documents.
Ensure employee files are complete and compliant.
HR Administration
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Update HRIS and employee databases accurately.
Prepare HR letters, certificates, announcements, and official correspondence.
Support attendance, leave, probation, and employee lifecycle administration.
Maintain confidentiality of employee records and company information.
HR Operations
Assist in payroll preparation by validating attendance, leave, overtime, and employee data.
Support performance management activities.
Assist in training coordination and employee engagement initiatives.
Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards.
Follow up on HR tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
Prioritize multiple HR tasks and ensure timely completion while maintaining high accuracy.
Coordinate travel arrangements including flight bookings, hotel reservations, transportation, and other travel logistics for employees and business requirements.
Follow up on visa applications, work permits, business visit requests, and related documentation until completion.
Manage and follow up on internal service requests (tickets) with IT, Administration, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely resolution.
Coordination & Support
Coordinate with all departments regarding HR requests.
Support policy implementation and HR initiatives.
Follow up on assigned action items until completion.
Perform additional HR duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or HR Administration.
Good understanding of HR fundamentals and employee lifecycle.
Good knowledge of Jordanian Labor Law is an advantage.
Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
Experience using HR systems (such as ZenHR or similar) is preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
