Role Description The Export Sales and Logistics Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan. The role involves managing international sales orders, coordinating export documentation, and ensuring on-time delivery to global customers and distributors. Responsibilities include communicating with clients and freight forwarders, preparing quotations and invoices, and tracking shipments from order confirmation through delivery. The officer will maintain accurate records of export transactions, monitor stock availability for export orders, and support the implementation of sales strategies in target markets. The role also includes resolving logistics issues, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements, and providing regular status updates to internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications
- Strong export sales skills, including managing international customer accounts, preparing offers, and following up on leads in target markets.
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain coordination, including shipping arrangements, customs documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Solid administrative and organizational abilities, with experience in order processing, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners.
- Relevant experience in export operations, international trade, or logistics; experience in home décor or consumer products is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and additional languages used in target markets is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Amman, Jordan, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of quality and customer service.
