Role Description The SAP FICO Sr. Consultant will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions, ensuring alignment with clients’ financial and controlling business processes. This full-time, on-site role is based in Amman and involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analyses, and propose best-practice configurations. The consultant will handle day-to-day tasks such as mapping business processes, configuring FICO components including CO-PA, conducting unit and integration testing, and preparing documentation and user training materials. The role includes providing functional support, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with technical teams on enhancements, and contributing to project planning and status reporting. The consultant will also support pre-sales activities, contribute to solution demonstrations, and help ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong SAP FICO expertise, including configuration, integration, and support across core Finance and Controlling modules.
- Hands-on experience with CO-PA and related controlling functionalities, with the ability to design and optimize profitability analysis solutions.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes in finance and accounting, including GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, and closing activities.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for translating complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions and performing detailed gap analyses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience as a SAP FICO consultant on full-cycle implementations, preferably within banking, telecom, enterprise, or government sectors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to travel, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.
