Finance Associate
Overview
Four Winters is looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Associate to oversee the company's financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and performance analysis, while partnering closely with leadership to support the company's continued growth and expansion.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial Reporting
Develop and maintain regular financial reports, evaluate business performance, and present key financial insights to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections while monitoring actual performance against targets.
Financial Analysis
Analyze sales, costs, profitability, and operational performance to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Cash Flow Management
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment schedules to support healthy financial operations.
Cost Control
Work with department managers to monitor expenses, improve efficiency, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Business Support
Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, new store openings, franchising initiatives, and business expansion.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls while coordinating with external accountants and auditors when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ability to oversee corporate finance, franchising, investment analysis, and business valuation.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in the F&B or hospitality industry is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
