Overview:
Seeking an experienced finance professional to lead financial management, planning, reporting, cash flow, and internal controls. The role will strengthen the finance function and establish effective financial policies and procedures for a Building Management and Control Systems business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity; optimize banking and treasury activities.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting and financial statements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Partner with project and operations teams to support project costing, margins, and revenue recognition.
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
- Improve finance processes, systems, and controls for scalability and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the finance team; ensure high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant finance experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, management reporting, and financial controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in GCC markets is an advantage; exposure to project-based or engineering environments is a plus.
