**Software Engineer (React / Node) — ZayOS, Remote in Jordan**
ZRG is building ZayOS, an AI native restaurant operations platform. We are live with paying restaurant customers, iterating fast, and building the core team that scales this to 50+ operators. We are looking for a software engineer to join early and own real product surface area, not just tickets.
**The deal**
$800 to $1,000 per month. Three month trial period. At the end of the trial we reevaluate compensation, scope, and a longer term track together. Full time hours required, with overlap into US business hours (EST). Fully remote, based in Jordan.
**What you will actually do**
Build and ship features across the ZayOS platform, React/Node. Fix real production bugs affecting live restaurant operators, including order flow, checkout, and account management issues, not hypothetical edge cases in a sandbox. Work directly with our founding team on architecture decisions as the platform scales from four live restaurants toward 50 operators. Own features end to end: build, test, ship, monitor.
**Who we want**
Solid hands on experience with React and Node in production, not just tutorials or personal projects. Someone who can work independently and communicate clearly async, since this is a distributed team working across time zones. Comfortable with ambiguity: specs will not always be perfect, and part of the job is helping shape them. Bonus points for experience with SaaS products, payment or ordering systems, multi tenant platforms, or restaurant tech specifically.
**What this is not**
This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction or wants a slow, low ownership job. This is not a large company with layers of process. It is a small, fast moving team building something real, with the friction that comes with that.
**Why this role is worth your time**
You get a ground floor seat at a startup with live paying customers and a real growth target, not a pre revenue idea. The three month trial is a two way audition. If the fit is right, there is a clear path to more compensation, more ownership, and a longer term role as ZayOS scales. You will work closely with founders, not be buried five layers down in a large org.
