This role is on a client engagement building and modernizing a multi-surface healthcare platform.
About the Role
We're looking for a frontend engineer to build and improve the customer-facing application and internal admin interfaces. A core part of the work is migrating an existing plain-JavaScript React codebase to TypeScript and rebuilding key parts of the UI as the platform modernizes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing features in React
- Lead the migration of a plain-JavaScript React codebase to TypeScript
- Rebuild and refactor UI components as part of the platform modernization
- Collaborate directly with backend engineers and design on interface and API contracts
- Contribute to frontend testing and code quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Strong React and modern JavaScript expertise
- Demonstrated TypeScript experience, ideally including JS-to-TS migration
- Solid understanding of component architecture, state management, and API integration
- An eye for clean, usable, well-built interfaces
- Strong written and verbal English communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce or storefront UI
- Familiarity with modern build tooling and frontend testing frameworks
- Exposure to AI coding tools and LLM-based development workflows
