Astrolabe Coffee is seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Amman, Jordan.
Required Qualifications & Experience:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of practical experience in the accounting field.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B), Restaurants, or Hospitality sector is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience working with the SAP system is required, along with excellent proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of general accounting principles, daily journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Languages: Good command of both Arabic and English.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Recording daily financial transactions and verifying invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
- Performing periodic reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, and branch cash safes.
- Tracking, verifying, and reconciling physical inventory counts at branches/warehouses against the system.
- Assisting the finance team in preparing monthly financial closures and reports.
- Organizing, maintaining, and archiving financial files and documentation securely.
