About The Role
The
Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance program visibility and audience engagement. This role involves creating and managing content calendars, writing compelling captions, and coordinating post designs across various platforms. The Senior ensures that digital content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals, contributing to the overall success of the organization's digital marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage social media content calendars to ensure consistent and strategic posting across platforms.
- Write engaging, creative, and relevant captions tailored to each platform and audience.
- Oversee and coordinate the design of social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Monitor content performance and audience engagement, using platform analytics to assess effectiveness and inform future improvements.
- Coordinate with the design team to request, review, and finalize visual assets for campaigns.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support campaign planning and brainstorm content ideas aligned with program goals.
- Track competitor activity and suggest opportunities for differentiation or improvement.
- Maintain organized documentation of posts, visuals, performance reports, and approvals.
- Perform any additional relevant tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication, or related field
- 3-6 Years of experience in social media
- Copywriting, Canva/Photoshop, platform analytics certifications are preferred but not mandatory
- English.
- Arabic.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to craft clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate captions and content that align with brand tone and objectives.
- Proficient in using design tools with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools to create and adapt visual content for social media posts.
- Skilled in interpreting performance data from social media insights tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Facebook Page Insights, LinkedIn Analytics) to evaluate reach, engagement, and content effectiveness.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for documentation and reporting.
- Familiar with reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI for basic data visualization and performance analysis.
- Experienced with communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack for internal and client interactions.
- Comfortable using task and project management tools like Trello, Asana, and Monday.com for tracking account-related activities.
