Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Full Stack Developer role based in Amman. The Senior Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power Observer’s security and automation solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end user interfaces, building robust back-end services and APIs, integrating with hardware and third-party systems, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security across the stack. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code, mentoring team members, and contributing to architectural decisions and best practices. The developer will also troubleshoot production issues, optimize existing features, and participate in continuous improvement of development workflows and tools.
Required Skills- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 8+
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Good experience with Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, validation, and error handling.
- Practical experience with gRPC in .NET.
- Ability to define and work with .proto files.
- Understanding of gRPC clients, services, metadata, interceptors, and error handling.
- Experience with authentication and authorization using JWT, roles, permissions, or policies.
- Good understanding of clean architecture, layered architecture, or modular application design.
- Experience with Git and working in a collaborative development workflow.
Nice to Have- Experience with SignalR / WebSocket.
- Experience with maps, GIS, Leaflet, MapLibre, or Google Maps.
- Experience with PostGIS.
- Experience with Kafka or event-driven systems.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
