Role Description
We are looking for a passionate QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in Amman.
You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our healthcare platform by designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks while also executing manual testing when required.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Backend, Flutter, Cloud, and Frontend teams to deliver high-quality software releases and continuously improve our testing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts.
* Execute manual testing across web, mobile, and backend applications.
* Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
* Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
* Verify bug fixes and ensure product quality before releases.
* Report, track, and manage defects using Jira.
* Participate in sprint planning, release validation, and QA sign-off.
* Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers.
* Drive automation testing best practices across engineering teams.
* Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4–8+ years of QA experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
* Solid experience with Manual Testing.
* Experience creating test plans and test cases.
* Experience with Regression Testing.
* Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
* Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
* Experience using Jira and Agile methodologies.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Nice to Have
* Performance Testing experience.
* Mobile Application Testing.
* Experience testing healthcare, telemedicine, ERP, or other regulated systems.
* Experience working in CI/CD environments.
* Knowledge of test automation best practices and modern QA methodologies.
