Askim is a fast-growing e-commerce marketplace launching in Jordan, designed to connect consumers with a wide variety of products through an innovative digital platform. We are building a dynamic team and seeking a results-driven Partnership & Procurement Manager to help us scale our vendor network and curate our private inventory.
Role Overview:
As our Partnerships & Procurement Manager, you will be the bridge between our platform and our suppliers. You will be responsible for bringing high-quality vendors on board, managing commission structures, and identifying the next "winning" products for our exclusive inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Acquisition: Proactively identify, reach out to, and onboard new vendors to our marketplace.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate commission rates, advertising fees, and terms of service with suppliers.
Procurement Strategy: Research and select high-demand products for our private inventory, managing the purchasing process to ensure profitability.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure product availability and quality.
Operations & Data: Oversee the accurate listing of vendor products on our app, ensuring attractive presentation and correct pricing.
Requirements:
Proven experience (2+ years) in Business Development, Sales, or Procurement (e-commerce background is a major plus).
Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot market trends and profitable products.
Fluency in English (Arabic is a requirement for local market operations).
Ability to work independently and meet ambitious growth targets.
High attention to detail and proficiency in digital tools/management software.
