About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Odoo Team Lead to lead our Odoo technical team and drive the successful delivery of business-critical solutions.
This role goes beyond project management. You will be responsible for building a high-performing engineering culture, mentoring developers, improving delivery processes, and ensuring scalable, maintainable Odoo implementations that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Odoo engineering team.
- Own planning, delivery, and execution of Odoo projects and enhancements.
- Drive engineering excellence through coding standards, architecture reviews, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Build internal capabilities and develop future technical leaders within the team.
- Ensure timely delivery while balancing technical debt, feature development, and operational support.
- Participate in solution design, estimation, and technical decision-making for complex ERP initiatives.
- Monitor team performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve engineering processes.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of Odoo engineers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with Odoo development and implementations.
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams or ERP delivery squads.
- Strong knowledge of Odoo architecture, modules, ORM, security model, and customization framework.
- Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code reviews, testing, and release management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience with multi-company or enterprise-scale Odoo deployments is a strong advantage.
