Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, responsible for providing financial insights and decision support to leadership. The role includes preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements and management reports, as well as supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. The Senior Financial Analyst will monitor key performance indicators, perform variance and trend analyses, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and cost control across the poultry value chain. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to evaluate investments, pricing, and capital expenditure projects, while ensuring adherence to financial policies and controls. The role also supports audits, contributes to the development of financial models and dashboards, and helps implement best practices in financial reporting and planning.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance with demonstrated experience in corporate or managerial finance roles.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including variance analysis, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision support.
- Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation and interpretation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) are preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, production-focused environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in the food, agriculture, or manufacturing sector is an asset, along with knowledge of cost accounting and inventory valuation.
