About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Amman. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and coordination of electrical systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare electrical design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
* Design LV power distribution systems, lighting systems, ELV systems, emergency power systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
* Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit studies.
* Develop detailed design packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
* Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
* Review project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards.
* Participate in technical meetings and design reviews.
* Support project teams during tendering, construction, and commissioning phases.
* Ensure designs comply with international standards and local regulations.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 3–4 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
* Mandatory proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of electrical design principles and international standards.
* Experience in MEP consulting or engineering design environments.
* Ability to prepare technical reports and design calculations.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Fluent English (written and spoken) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with ETAP, DIALux, or similar electrical design software.
* Experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary projects.
