Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP)

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Amman. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems for a variety of building projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare mechanical design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
* Design HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
* Perform cooling and heating load calculations and equipment sizing.
* Develop detailed design drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
* Coordinate designs with electrical, architectural, and structural teams.
* Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and engineering documentation.
* Participate in design reviews and project coordination meetings.
* Support project execution teams during tendering and construction stages.
* Ensure compliance with relevant international and local codes and standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
* Mandatory proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection system design.
* Experience in MEP consulting or engineering design firms.
* Ability to perform engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Fluent English (written and spoken) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with HAP, Pipe Sizer, Elite Software, or similar engineering tools.
* Experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary projects.
