Job Summary
Petra Ride is looking for an ambitious AI Automation Intern to support the automation of internal HR and Finance processes.
The intern will work closely with the People & Culture and Finance teams to understand current workflows, identify repetitive manual tasks, and help build simple AI-powered or automation-based solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.
This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or final-year student with a background in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Support the automation of repetitive HR and Finance tasks using AI tools, scripts, and workflow automation platforms.
2.Analyze current HR and Finance workflows and identify areas for improvement.
3.Help organize and clean data from different sources such as Excel, Google Sheets, HR records, and finance files.
4.Support the creation of AI-assisted solutions for document processing, reporting, employee data, recruitment tracking, and finance follow-ups.
5.Work with internal teams to understand business requirements and convert them into practical automation ideas.
6.Test automation outputs to ensure accuracy, usability, and data consistency.
7.Document processes, automation steps, and user guides for internal use.
8.Research new AI tools and recommend practical use cases for HR and Finance.
9.Support any additional automation or data-related projects as needed.
Requirements:
1.Fresh graduate or final-year student in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2.Basic understanding of AI tools, automation, and data handling.
3.Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, Google Apps Script, or automation tools is a plus.
4.Ability to understand business processes and translate them into simple technical solutions.
5.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical teams.
7.Interest in HR tech, finance automation, reporting, and process improvement.
8.Preferred Skills Experience with Python for data processing or automation.
9.Basic knowledge of workflow automation and process improvement.
10.Understanding of how to connect data, systems, and workflows to reduce manual work.
