Job Summary
The Inventory and Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing inventory control, warehousing, material flow, and logistics operations while supporting supply chain planning activities. The role ensures inventory accuracy, material availability, efficient logistics operations, and effective coordination with procurement and other departments to support business objectives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate inventory and logistics activities to ensure efficient daily operations.
* Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and optimal stock levels.
* Ensure material availability to support production schedules and operational requirements.
* Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material handling, and dispatch activities.
* Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
* Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure timely replenishment of materials and components.
* Support supply chain planning activities by monitoring inventory trends and material requirements.
* Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel tools to support inventory management, reporting, and operational planning.
* Lead and develop the inventory and logistics team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related engineering discipline.
* 4+ years of proven experience in inventory management, logistics, warehousing, supply chain operations, or related functions.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment; electronics or industrial sector experience is an advantage.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
