Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's or institution's financial records, by recording and analyzing financial transactions, and preparing financial reports that accurately reflect the company's financial performance.
Role And Responsibilities
- Recording and posting daily financial transactions.
- Preparing and recording sales invoices.
- Preparing checks and bank transfers, supplier contracts, and recording them.
- Reconcile customer and vendors accounts.
- Inventorying petty cash and recording the transactions.
- Follow up on temporary cash on hand and close them.
- Recording and capitalizing projects under construction
- Recording assets and their depreciation.
- Monthly closings.
- Recording and posting accrued and prepaid expenses and accrued revenues.
- Preparing tax returns
- Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports
- Assisting in preparing financial statements.
- Archiving financial records and entries.
- Reviewing contracts and financial agreements.
- Follow up on guarantees and financial documents.
- Comply with all safety, environmental, health and fire prevention rules and procedures defined.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting or any related field. (Advanced certificate is a plus).
- 0-1 years of relevant experience
- Languages: Arabic, English
