Job Announcement: Stockkeeper / Asset Controller
Location: Al-Qastal, Amman, Jordan
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Stockkeeper / Asset Controller to join our team in Al-Qastal, Amman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, tracking company assets, and ensuring accurate stock control in line with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
- IELTS 6 during the last two years
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in inventory management or asset control.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and stock management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory management systems.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock movements
- Monitor stock levels and perform regular physical counts
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials and spare parts
- Record and review daily store transactions (purchase vouchers, issue vouchers, purchase requests, etc.)
- Implement FIFO system to ensure proper stock rotation
- Track and control company assets and equipment, including acquisitions and disposals
- Maintain an effective system for tracking physical locations and condition of assets
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams
- Prepare inventory and asset reports, and provide data to the relevant managerial levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and audit requirements
- Assist in internal and external audit documentation
- Report and address quality issues promptly
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Steel Factory Inventory
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- IGCSE Secondary School Graduation
