Bank of Jordan is looking for a skilled Digital Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of our digital banking products to ensure they meet customer needs and support business goals. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including business units, technology teams, and customers to define product vision, prioritize features, and drive successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop suitable digital products for Bank of Jordan Group based on market research, customer segmentation insights, and product specifications, ensuring alignment with customer needs and expectations in coordination with the direct manager.
- Assess and optimize digital delivery channels for existing products and services in line with the bank's strategy. Evaluate feasibility of new products and ensure current offerings meet customer requirements. Execute reengineering plans based on service time, quality, customer experience, cost, and SLA standards in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Implement all necessary processes to ensure efficient digital delivery of products/services to target customers at competitive service levels compared to local and international banks.
- Contribute to identifying digital initiatives, services, and products in coordination with the Retail Banking division, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
- Develop, enhance, and automate existing and new banking products by collaborating closely with the team and the Innovation Unit.
- Provide feedback on gaps and weaknesses identified through customer journey simulations, propose solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and meet customer expectations.
- Participate in evaluating and monitoring the technical performance and efficiency of all digital products, preparing reports and escalating observations to the direct manager.
- Support the development and enhancement of digital applications and products by continuously researching global best practices and technological innovations in digital transformation.
- Analyze operational issues related to digital product systems, contribute to root cause analysis, implement solutions, and prepare dashboards and reports evaluating performance, sustainability, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in planning and monitoring marketing campaigns and budgets for digital products in coordination with the Marketing and Product Development departments, ensuring timely execution of campaigns across various media channels.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to digital products by coordinating with relevant departments and ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
- Act as a core or backup member in business continuity and emergency response plans, executing assigned tasks to minimize crisis impact and restore operations promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role, preferably within banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of digital banking technologies, user experience design, and Agile development principles
- Proven ability to manage product backlogs, deliver high-quality products, and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA or similar
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
