The Fraud Management Associate plays a key role in protecting HyperPay’s payment ecosystem by monitoring transactions, identifying suspicious activities, and supporting the implementation of fraud prevention controls. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to respond proactively to potential fraud risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily transaction activity and business performance to identify unusual patterns or potentially fraudulent behavior.
- Investigate suspicious transactions and escalate confirmed or suspected fraud cases to the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Configure, implement, and maintain fraud prevention rules within fraud management and payment monitoring systems.
- Prepare regular reports on fraud trends, incidents, and operational performance metrics.
- Track and monitor key fraud-related KPIs to ensure effective risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
- Support the continuous improvement of fraud detection processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to strengthen fraud prevention mechanisms.
Education & Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and verbal).
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in fraud management, risk, payments, or financial services.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools, Power BI, Python, or automation tools is considered an advantage
