QA Engineer I

Responsibilities

Actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Review and analyze product requirements to identify deficiencies and to determine what to test.
Document well-structured test cases in the test management system for functional and non-functional verification and regression testing.
Meticulously execute different types of tests & record results.
Thoroughly analyze and clearly report test results.
Report and track bugs in the issue tracking system.
Seek to learn application under test.
Seek to improve knowledge of QA concepts and tools.

Skills And Qualifications

Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree with 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
Basic understanding of Software QA concepts, tools and processes.
Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good experience with SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) - is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong analytical thinking and reasoning.
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
Strong will to learn and improve constantly.
Good verbal and communication skills in English.
