Job Purpose
The
Software Developer / System Administrator will play a key role in supporting the company’s software development, system administration, and integration activities across U.S. and Jordan operations. This hybrid role combines technical development with systems management to ensure efficient workflows, secure operations, and innovative software solutions aligned with business needs.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in programming, RESTful
API integration, and database management—eager to learn new technologies and
contribute to system enhancements and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain internal software tools and applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript and C#.
- Build and support RESTful API integrations for internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Perform software testing, debugging, and version control maintenance.
- Assist in implementing automation and process optimization initiatives.
- System Administration
- Support system installation, configuration, and maintenance across company networks.
- Monitor and maintain databases (SQL or NoSQL) and system performance.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations.
- Ensure proper data backups, updates, and recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues in coordination with the IT team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and changes.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with development, IT, and business teams to ensure system reliability.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest innovative technical solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on emerging tools and technologies.
- Projects and Additional Responsibilities
- Complete projects per project deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development and system administration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and C#.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration.
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for deliverables.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
WORKING HOURS
- On-site position in Amman, Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Amman Time).
