Role Description
We are seeking a Sales and Operations Specialist to join our team in Amman. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day communication between clients and global agents, supporting customer service, and assisting in the planning and execution of sales and logistics operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for international trade and freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between international agents and clients.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure high service standards.
- Support sales activities including lead follow-up and client onboarding.
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through client visits and cold calls.
- Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the company’s revenue growth.
- Assist in training and guiding junior team members.
- Ensure smooth execution of freight operations and documentation.
- Collaborate across departments to improve workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain.
- Confidence in writing and understanding professional emails in English.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in sales and operational roles within logistics or freight forwarding.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Experience in business development through cold calls and on-site client visits.
- Training or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping procedures is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
