Key Responsibilities
As the Finance and Accounting Manager in the Third-Party Logistics industry, the candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of our logistics and supply chain operations. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing and executing financial strategies to support the company’s long-term growth and operational objectives in the 3PL sector.
Managing financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations specific to logistics and supply chain activities.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies, particularly those relevant to the 3PL industry.
Leading the preparation of comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts, with a focus on logistics cost management and profitability.
Overseeing daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll, with an emphasis on vendor and client billing in the 3PL context.
Providing senior management with actionable insights and recommendations to enhance profitability and cost efficiency in logistics operations.
Managing cash flow and ensuring sufficient funds for operations, including working capital for logistics and supply chain activities.
Collaborating with other departments, such as operations, procurement, and sales, to streamline financial processes and improve cost control in the 3PL environment.
Leading and mentoring the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws specific to Jordan, particularly those impacting the logistics and transportation sector.
Qualifications And Experience
Knowledge in:
IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
Jordanian financial regulations, tax laws, and customs procedures
Experience in team leadership
CMA certified is preferred
Experience in Logistics, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), or import/export operations (preferred)
Additional Information
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise in financial management within the logistics or related industries.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems is highly desirable.
