Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Amman, Jordan. The Sales Engineer will identify and pursue sales opportunities for life safety and security systems, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing clients. Day-to-day tasks include understanding customer requirements, coordinating with engineering and project teams to design suitable solutions, and supporting the sales cycle from initial inquiry through closing and after-sales follow-up. The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills to develop solutions, prepare proposals, and drive opportunities to closure.
Experience in Technical Support, including troubleshooting, system configuration assistance, and product guidance for customers and internal teams.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, understand their needs, and build long-term relationships.
Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards related to life safety and security systems.
Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic CRM or sales management software.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage for communication with local clients.
Prior experience in life safety, security systems, or building services engineering is preferred.
