Role Description The Marketing Content Specialist is a full-time, remote role. This is a broad, high-ownership content marketing role. You'll be responsible for building and running our content and social presence across channels, supporting webinars, and helping position our founder as a recognised voice in the language services and translation industry. Day-to-day tasks include:

Content and Blogging: Developing content for the website resource page incl. blogs, newsletters, webinars.
Social Media Strategy and Implementation: Managing Facebook and LinkedIn Channels.
Personal Brand Management: Managing a founder based LinkedIn profile.
PR and Media Features: Proactively research and pitch relevant journalists, industry publications, and podcasts for features, interviews, or contributed articles.
Collaborating with linguists and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance;
Aligning messaging with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

The role also involves conducting audience and competitor research, optimizing content for search engines, and tracking performance metrics to improve engagement and lead generation. The Marketing Content Specialist will work closely with Business Manager to support campaigns, refine the content calendar, and ensure consistent, inclusive, and culturally aware communication across all platforms.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or a similar role — ideally with B2B or professional services experience.
Excellent skills in marketing copywriting, content creation, and storytelling across digital channels.
Experience with content strategy, editorial planning, and audience research.
Proven experience running LinkedIn strategy for a company page and/or founder personal brand.
Proficiency in SEO principles, web analytics tools, and social media marketing.
Familiarity with translation, localization, or language services is highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
