Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Amman, Jordan, for an Operations Officer. The role involves overseeing daily logistics and shipping operations, coordinating freight and shipping schedules, managing documentation and compliance, communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows, and resolving any operational challenges that may arise. The Operations Officer will also ensure adherence to company standards and industry regulations, while contributing to the efficiency of logistics processes.

Qualifications

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in logistics coordination, freight management, and operational planning
Basic knowledge of shipping regulations, documentation, and compliance requirements
Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
Proficiency with logistics software and relevant computer applications
Fluent in English and Arabic
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Prior experience in logistics, freight services, or a similar field is an advantage
